Two School District Levy Renewal measures were on the May 4, 2010 ballot in the Garaway and Southeast school districts which are in Holmes County.
Both measures were defeated
The Garaway measure sought to renew a $.10 levy, per $100 of assessed value, in order to help pay for permanent school improvements in the district.
- YES 3 (33.33%)
- NO 6 (66.67%)
The Southeast measure sought to renew a $.70 levy, per $100 of assessed value, for a further five years in order to help pay for emergency requirements as needed by the school district.[1]
- YES 124 (31.39%)
