The question on the ballot:
The Garfield Park & Recreation District #2 adopted Resolution #2011-03, concerning a proposition to finance maintenance, repair and operation of the pool facilities. This proposition would authorize the Garfield Park & Recreation District #2 to collect a property tax levy upon all taxable property within the District in the amount of $80,000, an estimated $1.33, or less, per one thousand dollars of assessed value in the year 2011 for collection in 2012.
