Gary A. Nickerson
Gary A. Nickerson was an associate justice for the Massachusetts Superior Courts.[1] He was nominated to the court by former Governor Paul Cellucci in October 1998 and retired in August 2018.[2][3][4]
Education
Nickerson received his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts and his J.D. from Northeastern University.[5]
Career
Before his judicial career, Nickerson worked as an attorney in a solo practice in Barnstable, Massachusetts, specializing in criminal defense. He also previously served as an assistant district attorney for Barnstable and as a special assistant U.S. attorney for Massachusetts.[3]
