- Moved to Thermopolis Wyoming at the age of 6.

- Graduated from the University of Wyoming. - Entered the Air Force and became a pilot and flight instructor. Second tour was with the 89th MAW, where I was an instructor in a T-39 Sabreliner and few senior officers and members of Congress around the US and Canada. - Flew for United Airlines for 2 years, was furloughed for 4 and recalled to fly the next 24. - While furloughed, did a tour with the Navy out of Roosevelt Roads Puerto Rico doing embassy support, drug interdiction, search and rescue, and special missions. - In 1989 we bought a hardware store with my parents in Douglas, two years later bought one in Glenrock. - My wife and I bought a building in Wheatland in 2002 and started the Wheatland Ace Hardware there. - It is now time to turn my effort to returning the State Senate to a more conservative, common sense approach to better serve the citizens of District 6.

-
  • I took an oath in both the Air Force and Navy to defend the Constitution. "That oath has no expiration date." And it needs defending.
  • Wyoming has tremendous natural resources and we need to be using them for the benefit of the State and its citizens. Green energy only benefits the rich and the companies that do the initial installation. At this point they are not cost effective. The government pays out more money than they produce and some point the companies seem to go away and we are left with an eyesore which becomes landfill.
  • Property rights and taxation. The use of imminent domain should only be used as a last resort in extreme circumstances. Increasing the tax revenue isn't one of them. Property valuations have gone out of sight and people that have been in the same house for years can no longer afford the taxes. There have been two proposals that held promise one didn't get enough signatures from the citizens. I think do to "misinformation". I believe the governor vetoed the other one. We have to fix this problem.
Parental Rights and the trans gender issue. There are TWO sexes. Boys cannot participate in girls sports period.
My father. He was an honest man, whose word was his bond. He was involved and respected in the community.
I am a straight shooter. I call things like I see them and I accept responsibility for my decisions. If you don't like the decisions I make call me on it, I wont try to evade the question but will give you my reasoning behind the decision.
Follow the Constitution. Keep the government out of as much as possible. Listen to the people that have to live with those decisions.
He served with honesty and integrity. He worked hard to make the changes and legislation needed.
Gambles Hardware. I held the job thru high school.
"Rules for Radicals" by Saul Alinsky - Know thy enemy.
Arranging my flying and working schedules to have a family life.
When both are pulling on the same rope for the benefit of the State and its citizens
To use Wyoming's natural resources to return the country to energy independence. Show the error of the current "Green Energy" plan and the fallacy of CO2 reduction.
Yes. You have to understand where someone is coming from to find common ground.
The original intent of Title 9 for all Wyoming schools.
Jeremy Haroldson, Mark Macy, Brent Bien, Wyoming Stockmen for Liberty
Transparency is imperative. Members of the legislature should be held accountable, they are supposed to be doing the peoples work. Another reason for term limits.
I would like to go back to paper ballots. Local ID required. The potential for fraud with electronic voting machines is huge.
