Biography

Gary Blenner was born in Queens, New York. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Davis in 1988 and a graduate degree from National University in 2006. His career experience includes working as a teacher.[1]

I have been a high school social science teacher for 28 years. From 2006-2010, I was a school board trustee on the Center Joint Unified School District in Antelope/Elverta in Sacramento County. I ran for the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors in 2012 and 2016.
  • Proportional Representation in the State Assembly by political party with a 5% threshold.
  • Ranked Choice Voting for all other single-member races
  • Public financing of campaigns. End corporate personhood.
End the control of two corporate political parties in policy making decisions. We must open up the political process and expand democracy, not limit our ability to express our opinions at the ballot box.
