I was born in Southbridge, MA, educated at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and have lived in Sturbridge since 1989. Medium sized family business owner with 30+ years of municipal service in Sturbridge, MA. Three Adult daughters and two recent grandsons.
  • There is currently no reaged for the work of the men and women of law enforcement, or victim's rights, on the governor's Council. The majority of the questions to judicial nominees ask for reduced or eliminated bail, pushing back on the use of dangerousness hearings and minimum sentencing. .
  • There is a lack of transparency on the current GC. They voted to stop livestreaming hearings back in April of 2022, and only began livestreaming them again after intense pressure form the media. They also opened up a hearing 45 minutes before it was scheduled because a quorum of councilors happened to be in the room. It was opened in closed in 3 minutes with no comments from the nominee or his witnesses. This would not happen were I on the council, citizens need to trust that these candidates are being vetted in the light of day.
  • This council is far more concerned with the comfort and rights of the accused and the incarcerated than they are of the victims and the lifelong trauma they have to deal with as the result of violent crimes. These people need a voice on the Council that is sorely absent.
Public safety and the opioid epidemic are the most pressing at this time.
I voted for Ronald Reagan in 1984, the first election I could vote in. He epitomized what I would hope to become; a tough conservative that could rally the country, yet a diplomat that could work with others across the isle. I've also been a member of the Screen Actor's Guild since 1991, and Ronald Reagan was the greatest president SAG ever had. We can all thank him for the residual payment system to this day!
I worked at NCR Corporation out of college in major account Food & Drug sales. Transitioned to our family business, All Star Incentive marketing, in 1990.
