Gary Gilman is a judge on the Washington County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He was elected in 2011 to a term that expires in 2021.

Education

Gilman received his undergraduate degree from Washington & Jefferson College and his J.D. from American University Law School.[1]

Career

Gilman has spent his legal career in both the public sector and private practice of law. He has served as a hearing officer for the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, a Solicitor of Canonsburg Borough Zoning Hearing Board and an Assistant Solicitor for Washington County.[1]

2011 election

Gilman ran for an open seat on the Washington County Court of Common Pleas. He received 29.8 percent of the vote in the primary election.[2] Gilman defeated Lane Turturice in the general election, receiving 54 percent of the vote.[3]
