Gary Horlacher
Gary Horlacher was a Democratic candidate for Georgia Secretary of State in 2010. He placed fifth in the Democratic primary on July 20, 2010.[1]
Biography
Gary Horlacher earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Georgia and a J.D. from Georgia State University. His professional experience includes working as a partner with the law firm Adorno & Yoss and as a member of the Legislative and Public Policy Practice Group at Alston & Bird. Previously, Horlacher was the press secretary to former Georgia Governor Roy Barnes (D) and the Assistant Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Labor. He was also the Manager of Government Relations for Oglethorpe Power and the Georgia Electric Membership Corporation before serving as Executive Director of the Georgia Association of Home Health Agencies.[2]
