Gary Inmon is the Place 5 representative on the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District school board in Texas. First elected in 2000, Inmon won a new term in the by-district general election on November 7, 2017.

Inmon was a district-level delegate to the 2016 Republican National Convention from Texas. Inmon was one of 104 delegates from Texas bound by state party rules to support Ted Cruz at the convention.[1] Cruz suspended his campaign on May 3, 2016. At the time, he had approximately 546 bound delegates. For more on what happened to his delegates, see this page.

Inmon was also a Republican Party candidate for the 2010 special election to District 44 of the Texas House of Representatives. The special election took place on December 14, 2010.

Four of seven seats on the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District school board in Texas were up for at-large general election on November 7, 2017. Three incumbents filed for re-election.[2]

Place 6 incumbent David Pevoto, Place 7 incumbent Amy Driesbach, and former trustee Edward Finley were unopposed in their election bids. Finley ran for the Place 4 seat. Incumbent Gary Inmon defeated challengers Grumpy Azzoz and Charles Huff for the Place 5 seat.[2]
