Gary J. Ortego
Gary J. Ortego (Republican Party) is a judge for the 3rd District of the Louisiana 3rd Circuit Court of Appeal. He assumed office on March 7, 2022. His current term ends on December 31, 2032.
Ortego (Republican Party) is also a judge of the Louisiana 13th Judicial District Court. He assumed office on January 1, 2015.
Ortego (Republican Party) won re-election for the 3rd District judge of the Louisiana 3rd Circuit Court of Appeal outright in the primary on November 8, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.

Ortego received an undergraduate degree in business management from the University of Louisiana and a J.D. from Louisiana State University.[1]
