Jones answered the following questions from Brookfield NOW:

What would be your main goals for Elmbrook if elected? Maintain our position as a leading school district in both the state and nation; find ways to use our state-mandated limited revenue most effectively; help our teaching staff know how much we appreciate their unparalleled efforts to provide excellent education and reward them like the heroes they are, within our limited budget. The topic of overcrowding at Swanson School has gotten a lot of attention of late. What are your thoughts on solutions for that issue? The recent action by the administration and board to enlarge the cafeteria at Swanson will go a long way toward using the entire school to its intended capacity. The recently formed Swanson Enrollment Analysis Committee will be studying the boundary changes that will be necessary to balance the enrollment at all of our schools. |
