Gary Lambert was a 2014 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 2nd Congressional District of New Hampshire.[1] He lost to Marilinda Garcia in the Republican primary on September 9, 2014.[2]

Lambert is also a former Republican member of the New Hampshire State Senate, representing District 13 from 2010 to 2012.

Lambert is the owner and patent/trademark attorney at Lambert & Associates. He was a colonel in the United States Marine Corps.

Lambert earned his J.D. from Drake University Law School in 1984, his M.S. in strategic studies at Army War College in 2003, and his B.S. in chemistry/biology at Valpariso University in 1981.

Lambert ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent New Hampshire's 2nd District.[4] Lambert sought the Republican nomination in the primary on September 9, 2014, but was defeated by Marilinda Garcia.[2]

The National Republican Congressional Committee added Lambert to their "On the Radar" list in November 2013. According to the NRCC, candidates that made this list were set to receive "...the tools they need to run successful, winning campaigns against their Democratic opponents."[5][6]

On November 2, 2010, Lambert won election to the New Hampshire State Senate. He faced no opposition in the September 14 primary and defeated Bette Lasky in the general election.
