Gary McCallister
Gary McCallister (Democratic Party) ran for election to the West Virginia House of Delegates to represent District 22. McCallister lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.
McCallister was a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 22 of the West Virginia House of Delegates.[1]
McCallister was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 22 of the West Virginia House of Delegates. He was defeated in the general election.[2]
Biography
McCallister is a former member of the Lincoln County Board of Election. He was elected to a four-year term in May, 2012, and decided to step down January 8, 2014, to run for House of Delegates District 22.[3]

Elections for the West Virginia House of Delegates took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 13, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 25, 2014. District 22 is represented by two delegates. Incumbent Jeff Eldridge and Gary McCallister defeated incumbent Joshua Barker in the Democratic primary. McCallister defeated Barker by one vote in a recount. Michel Moffatt and Justin Mullins were unopposed in the Republican primary. Eldridge and Moffatt defeated McCallister and Mullins in the general election.[2][8]
