Gary P. Strausser

Gary P. Strausser is an associate judge of the Seventh District of Iowa. He was appointed to this position in 2005.[1] His current term expires in 2018.
Education
Strausser graduated from Towson State University with a bachelor's degree and then received his law degree from Drake University Law School. He also received a Master's degree from Drake University's School of Journalism and Mass Communication.[1]
Career
Strausser began his legal career in 1992 as an Assistant Clinton County Attorney. He became the First Assistant in 1999 and continued to work in this capacity until his judicial appointment in 2005.[1]
2012 election
Strausser was retained in the general election on November 6, winning 76.88 percent of the vote.[2][3]
