Gary S. Glazer
Gary S. Glazer was a judge of the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He assumed office in 1992. He left office on January 3, 2022.
Glazer ran for re-election for judge of the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He did not appear on the ballot for the retention election on November 2, 2021.
Education
Glazer earned his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University.[1]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Glazer was an Assistant United States Attorney where he was the chief of the Fraud section. He also spent time as an attorney in Philadelphia and Chicago.[2]
Elections
2021
Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judges Gary S. Glazer, James Murray Lynn, Arnold L. New, and Robert J. Rebstock filed to run for retention in 2021, but later withdrew.[3] As a result, eight seats on the court were up in the primary election, but 12 seats were up in the general election on November 2, 2021. The Democratic Party nominated candidates Monica Gibbs, Leanne Litwin, Mark Moore, and John Sabatina Jr. to run for the additional four seats in the general election.[4][5]

Glazer was retained to the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas with a "yes" vote of 73.8%.[6]
