Gary Stork
Gary Stork is a former judge for the Huerfano County Court in Colorado.[1] He was appointed to the court in January 2009.[2] Stork retired from the court on January 10, 2017.[3]
Education
Stork received his undergraduate degree from Pasadena College and his J.D. from the University of Denver.[2]
Career
Stork spent 22 years as district attorney in La Junta and seven years as a deputy district attorney for various municipalities.[2]
Elections
2012
Stork was retained in the general election on November 6, winning 71.63 percent of the vote.[4]

Judicial performance evaluation
The Third Judicial District Commission on Judicial Performance announced its recommendations for judges up for retention in 2012. According to its website, the commission evaluates judges based on the following criteria: integrity, legal knowledge, communication skills, judicial temperament, and administrative performance.[5]
Judge Stork was recommended for retention by a unanimous vote. [2]
