Gayle Crane is a circuit court judge for the 29th Circuit Court in Missouri.[1] Crane was elected to the bench in 2006, was re-elected in 2012, and her current term is expiring in 2018.[2]
Education
Crane attended the University of Kansas for her B.S.W. and the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law for her J.D.[3]
Career
Prior to her time on the bench, Crane was in private practice and was a partner with the firm Law Office of Sotta and Crane, P.C..[2][4]
Elections
2006
Crane won the Republican primary for the 29th Circuit Court, Division 1, defeating opponent Karl Blanchard by a close margin. Crane received 51.9 percent of the votes while Blanchard received 48.1%. Crane faced no opposition in the general election in November.[2]
2012
