Gene Donofrio
Gene Donofrio (Democratic Party) was a judge of the Ohio Seventh District Court of Appeals. He assumed office in 1993. He left office on February 8, 2023.
Donofrio (Democratic Party) ran for re-election for judge of the Ohio Seventh District Court of Appeals. He lost in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Biography
Education
Donofrio received his B.A. degree from Youngstown State University in 1975 and his J.D. from the University of Akron College of Law in 1978.[1]
Career
Donofrio worked as an attorney in private practice for 14 years before joining the Ohio Seventh District Court of Appeals in 1993. He also previously served as an assistant prosecuting attorney for the City of Youngstown and for Mahoning County, as counsel for the Mahoning County treasurer, and as an Ohio assistant attorney general.[1]
