Nemeth received a B.S. in electrical engineering from Penn State University and an M.S. in engineering management from Old Dominion University. As of 2023, he was the facility operations and maintenance group lead at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.[2]

In it, he said the “[b]iggest issue is substandard student outcomes … because more than half of our students are not proficient in core subjects.” Nemeth continued, saying, “[W]e must collectively address student mental health issues” and “the District needs to imrpvoe transparency and be more parent inclusive. Parents deserve to see performance results, financials, curriculum, classroom activities, etc. without having to ask.”
