Gene Petty

Gene Petty is a judge of the Third Judicial District of Idaho. He was appointed by Gov. Butch Otter (R) in April 2017 to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Juneal C. Kerrick.[1]
Biography
Petty earned his bachelor's degree from California State University-San Marcos and his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago. At the time of his appointment to the bench, he was a deputy prosecutor for Ada County and an adjunct professor at the Concordia University School of Law.[1]
