A Genesee County Community Education Programs Levy Increase proposal was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Genesee County, which is in Michigan, where it was defeated.

If approved, this proposal would have authorized the Genesee County to increase property taxes by 0.02 mill ($.02 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for 5 years in order to fund funding for agricultural, horticultural, nutrition and other community education programs. The estimated first year revenue from this tax is $176,104.60.[1]
