A Genesee School District Levy proposal was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Genesee County, which is in Michigan where it was approved.

This proposal authorized the Genesee School District to levy 1 mill ($1 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years in order to fund construction and repair of school buildings and for equipping and furnishing school buildings and facilities. The estimated first year revenue from this tax was $41,981.[1]
