I’m a Christian, husband, father to four young boys, and former Navy pilot running not as a politician, but as a citizen of the Upstate. I want to ensure our Congressional representation is there to protect, promote and uphold the integrity of the Upstate’s conservative values.
  • Mandates: Individuals decide what's injected into their own bodies, not the government. We are quickly entering an era where the unvaccinated will not be allowed to work, travel, or participate in civil society. Mandates and emergency use orders are quickly becoming normalized to the detriment of individual liberty and freedom.
  • Corporate Censorship of Speech: As a society, we are quickly being governed via large businesses. "Civic Community boards" within social media companies should not be allowed to censor speech simply because they disagree with it politically.
  • Education: Regardless of what government bureaucrats say, parents, not "woke" public school administrators, know what’s best for their children.
** No Vaccine or Mask Mandates.

    • Parents know what is best when it comes to their children's education. Critical Race Theory, Anti-American ideology has no place in our schools and universities.

    • The Right to Keep and Bear Arms is a fundamental human right.

    • A military that is free from "Woke" Ideology.

    • Border Security is required to protect our citizens and their way of life. Build the Wall!

    • ALL human is sacred from conception.

    • Freedom of Speech, the bedrock of democracy, shall not be censored.
My father, regardless of what life throws at him remains happy, trusts in God, acts completely selfless, has always been an American Patriot, and loves his family. I have seen him make the right choices even when he thought no one was looking.

Truthfulness, Accountability, Authenticity. The ability to admit you're wrong and to learn from mistakes. Listen to constituents, work for those you represent, sponsor meaningful legislation, and never worry about the next election.
1. Matter of fact, honesty, authenticity, humor, always learning and analyzing, not impressed with power, prestige, title or wealth.

2. Leadership experience as a former Lieutenant Commander, Aircraft Commander, Mission

Commander, and Lead Instructor pilot in the U.S. Navy.

3. Calm under pressure.

4. Willing to walk away from any career to hold on to my guiding principles.

5. Favorite Compliment from one of my former military superiors: "George, you are a reliable and

capable Pitbull."
1. Spend as much time as humanly possible within the district to interact with voters and listen to their concerns, ideas and needs.

2. Take action on behalf of constituent requests quickly.

3. Sponsor and Co-Sponsor meaningful bills that promote and protect American values.

4. Respond to questions and or concerns within 24-48 hours.

5. Learn your job quickly and well to make an impact for those you represent.

6. Hold those you work with to a high standard of accountability.

7. Foster relationships with Representatives from both sides of the aisle.
He Left the seat better than he found it.
The Mogadishu disaster in the 1990's which led to the book titled: Black Hawk Down. I remember my parents making me leave the room as they were watching the news with Peter Jennings on TV.
Mowing lawns and cleaning tactor trailers. I had those jobs too long!
Gandalf. He's a scholar, statesmen, philosopher, friend, warrior, adventurer, unashamed and unafraid.
I have a tendency to be too direct and blunt.

The U.S. House of Representatives has the pulse of the citizenry at large. The Founders of the American Constitution were wise beyond their years to create a branch of government that requires public servants to listen intently and act quickly on their constituents' concerns.
No, the architects of our system of government designed the Constitution to be led by citizens who would have to live with the laws they've created. A large part of the dysfunction in government today is the hypocrisy citizens witness between the politician and the average voter.

We're a nation blessed with tens of millions of brilliant minds from all over the country and world. Experience should not deter those who want to serve in public office.

History has shown that prior experience in government does not necessarily equate into good governance. A quick analysis into President Biden's stalled agenda shows that even though he has over four decades of experience, he has still not passed some of his most ambitious goals regarding his Build Back Better plan. Additionally, the President and his administration seem to be playing catch-up with COVID-19 Pandemic, Economy, Inflation, Border Security, National Defense and Foreign Affairs. Contrarily, President Trump was able to pass significant parts of his agenda to include national defense, trade agreements, border security, tax law, and a robust economy. All these accomplishments with zero experience in government or politics.
** Political polarization in all aspects of public, corporate and private life.
    • Politicized federal government agencies.
    • Federal and State Government's role with regard to the U.S. Constitution. The Federal government is
growing at a pace so quick that individual liberties are beginning to erode.
    • National Debt and annual deficit. Inflation
    • Cyber Security for Military and Civilian networks.
    • Healthcare
    • Education
    • Foreign aggression from Russia, China and violent non-state actors.
Armed Services, Veterans Affairs, Small Business, Agriculture, Modernization of Congress, Ethics, Foreign Affairs.
They're needed within all branches of government, to include the Supreme Court. I believe 12 years in office is a sufficient amount of time to learn, legislate, and pass laws in both the House and Senate. If a congressman is unable to understand their job and pass meaningful legislation with over a decade in office, then perhaps they should move aside and allow another citizen to represent their community.
Former U.S. Rep. Ron DeSantis. I like to think of him as a "reliable and capable pit-bull".
A constituent in my district dropped out of high school in 9th grade, joined the Navy during World War II, risked his life during D-Day, started three business, returned home and married the love of his life. This man has such a positive demeanor and is so full of humor and life. I love hearing him tell his story and I hope I can be as content as him when I'm 94.
There is certainly a time and place for compromise, however, compromising one's values is never desirable for policymaking.
Ensure that American tax dollars are spent judiciously and effectively. Cut waste at all levels of government. The power of the purse.
