George Acero is a judge of the Superior Court of Sacramento County in California. Acero assumed office on March 25, 2021. Acero's current term ends on January 8, 2029.
Acero won re-election for judge of the Superior Court of Sacramento County in California outright in the primary on June 7, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.
He was appointed to the court on March 25, 2021 by Gavin Newsom (D) to replace Raoul M. Thorbourne.[1]
Biography
Acero received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. From 2003 to 2008, he was an Associate at Porter Scott. He was then Senior Counsel from 2008 to 2011 at Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani LLP, where he was a Partner from 2011 to 2016. Since 2016, he has been Owner of Acero Law.[1]
