Devoted husband, father and hard worker with 35 years in law enforcement experience, and 25 years as a licensed Michigan residential builder. Past three years maintaining the Pleasantview Township’s cemeteries and assisting with the sexton duties. I’m passionate to serving the community traditions, protecting the beauty of Northern Michigan, and supporting healthy growth for the community. Hobbies include gardening and carpentry, as well as, outdoor recreation in fishing, boating, snowmobiling, and skiing. A short term goal is to gain a seat on the board as a trustee for the township of Pleasantview.
  • Serving the requests, concerns and voices of the community with honesty and prompt service.
  • Protecting the wonderful environment of the Township.
  • Supporting the protection of the rules and ordinances of the Township Ordinances.
Supporting the freedoms and equal treatment for all. Supporting considerations necessary to provide a safe and healthy environment for us and our future.
I’ve been fortunate to have had relationships personally and professionally with many good, special and successful people. On the flip side, experience with “troubled” people has also been a key factor in my life.
Good listener, fair and open minded. Ability to recognize the not just the immediate importance of the current matter, however future considerations and impacts.
First job when I was 13 years old. A paper carrier delivering newspapers for the Detroit News. 7 days a week for 2 1/2 years. Looking back that job helped me get to where I’m at today. With divorced parents, occasional visits with my father, the job gave helped me learn the importance of responsibility, hard work - rain or sunshine, and the rewards of being a good worker personally and financially.
Not much of a book reader. More short story papers and articles.
No favorite joke. Humor is very important especially with getting people to smile, and the ability of making fun of myself.
Paramount to have financial transparency and government accountability. On all levels.
