George Edward Cire (1922-1985) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Cire was nominated to the Southern District of Texas by President Jimmy Carter on February 13, 1979, to a new seat created by 92 Stat. 1629; he was confirmed by the Senate on May 10, 1979, and received commission on May 11, 1979. He served the Southern District of Texas until his death on May 5, 1985.[1] Cire was succeeded in this position by David Hittner.
