George Davis was an at-large member on the Dubuque Community School Board. He was defeated in his re-election bid on September 10, 2013. Davis was first elected to the board in September 2006.

Davis is an attorney in private practice with the Locher & Locher law firm. Prior to beginning his law practice, he was a Certified Public Accountant with McGladrey & Pullen and Deloitte & Touche. He has taught accounting, auditing, tax and business law courses in the Clarke College Time Saver program since 1998. Davis and his wife, Chris, have two children in district schools.[1]
