George E. Healy, Jr.
George E. Healy, Jr. was the chief judge of the Rhode Island Workers' Compensation Court.[1] He was appointed to the court by former Democratic Governor Bruce Sundlun in 1991 and was appointed chief judge in August 2004.[2][3] Healy retired from the bench at the end of July 2015.[4]
Education
Healy received his bachelor's degree from Northeastern University in 1973 and his J.D. from the Suffolk Law School in 1976.[2]
Career
Prior to his judicial career, Healy worked as a civil litigator, specializing in workers' compensation.[5]
