Whitmore ran for election to the Enfield Town Court.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 5, 2013, after receiving 21.6 percent of the vote. Deborah L. Teeter and incumbent Judge Betty F. Poole were also on the ballot, competing for two open seats.
