George Flaggs, Jr. (b. March 20, 1953) is a former Democratic member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing District 55 from 1987 to July 1, 2013. He resigned following the 2013 session.[1]

Biography

Flaggs earned his A.A. from Hinds Junior College and B.S. from Jackson State University. His professional experience includes working as a Youth Court Counselor in Warren County.[2]

On November 8, 2011, Flaggs won re-election to District 55 of the Mississippi House of Representatives. He ran unopposed in the August 2 primary and defeated Sam Smith (R) in the November 8 general election.[3][4]
