George H. Winner, Jr.
George H. Winner, Jr. (b. July 31, 1949) is a former Republican member of the New York State Senate, representing District 53 from 2005 to 2010.
Winner served in the New York State Assembly from 1978 to 2004. From 1990 to 2004, he served as Assembly minority leader pro tempore. He also served as deputy minority leader.
Biography
Winner earned his B.A. from Saint Lawrence University in 1971. His professional experience includes working as the counsel/legislative assistant for Senate Deputy Majority Leader William T. Smith from 1971 to 1978 and as the partner for Keyser, Maloney, Winner Limited Liability Partnership.[1]
