George Howard, Jr. (1924-2007) was a federal judge on the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas.

Howard was nominated to both courts simultaneously by President Jimmy Carter on June 2, 1980, to seats vacated by Richard Arnold; he was confirmed by the Senate on September 29, 1980, and received commission the next day. He served both courts until December 1, 1990, at which time his seat on the Western District was reassigned. He continued serving on the Eastern District until his death on April 21, 2007. Howard was succeeded in this position by Brian Miller.
