George M. Jirotka is a judge of the Florida 6th Circuit Court. His current term ends on January 5, 2027.

Jirotka won re-election for judge of the Florida 6th Circuit Court outright after the general election on November 3, 2020, was canceled.

Education

Jirotka received his master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago and his J.D. from the University of Texas.[1][2]

Career

Jirotka served as the mayor of Belleair Shore for seven years, until 1998. He also worked with the law firm of Fowler White Boggs Banker from 1986 until he was appointed to the Sixth Circuit in 2005. At the time of his appointment, he was a shareholder in the firm and the chair of its Government, Environmental and Land Department Real Estate Practice Group. He has also served as chairman of the Sixth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission.[1][3]
