George McFaddin is an at-large judge for the South Carolina Circuit Courts.[1] He was elected to the court by the South Carolina General Assembly in February 2017.[2] He was re-elected on February 3, 2021, to a term expiring in 2027.[3]
McFaddin was also a family court judge for the Third Judicial Circuit in South Carolina.[4] He was first elected to the court by the South Carolina General Assembly in 2002 and served until 2017.[2][5]
Education
McFaddin received his B.A., M.P.A., and J.D. from the University of South Carolina in 1978, 1979, and 1985, respectively.[2]
Career
Prior to joining the court, McFaddin was a law clerk for Judge Rodney A. Peeples, chief magistrate of Sumter County, and judge on the South Carolina Family Court.[2]
