George Onorato
George Onorato is a former Democratic member of the New York State Senate, representing District 12 from 1983 to 2010.
Onorato has been the Democratic district leader of the 36th Assembly District since 1977. While in the State Senate, he served as vice-chair of the minority conference.
Biography
Onorato received his diploma from Long Island City High School. His professional experience includes working as the secretary/treasurer for Bricklayer's Local #41 from 1968 to 1983. He served in the 118th Medical Battalion of the United States Army from 1950 to 1952.[1]
