George R. Ames, Jr. is a judge on the Orphans Court of Dorchester County in Dorchester County, Maryland.[1] He has served as a judge on the court since 1994.[2] Ames was re-elected to the court in 2014 for a four-year term ending in 2018.[3][4]
Education
Ames received his bachelor's degree from Christian World College of Theology in 2003. He went on to earn a master's degree, also from Christian World College of Theology, in 2011. He also holds three associate degrees: two from Chesapeake College earned in 1978 and 1982, and one from Christian World College of Theology earned in 2001.[5]
Career
In addition to being a judge of the Orphans Court of Dorchester County, Ames is also the pastor of Wesley Chapel Church.[5]
