I was raised by a strong, single mother who worked two jobs to provide for our family. I am a veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force. I later received a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.

My career with United Parcel Service began in sales, and after receiving several promotions, I retired in 2021, as the Mexico Country Manager for UPS Freight. In 2015 I was elected as the first Hispanic Mayor for the City of Palm Valley, Texas. As Mayor I began working on balancing the city budget to address future infrastructure projects, identified projects to improve drainage, and maintained a strong police force by providing the latest technology and equipment to ensure the safety of both officers and citizens. I am an everyday working businessman, with a strong business acumen and a very good listener. I have a track record of problem-solving, and a reputation for getting the job done. All I want to do is make a difference. I am a conservative, committed to creating practical solutions for families; solutions that generate good jobs at good wages, and real financial security.

Married (Sylvia), proud parents of two successful daughters, with 6 grandchildren.
  • Pro Family: I am a strong supporter of family values. This is key to a successful democracy.
  • Pro Jobs: I understand the importance of providing high paying jobs to strengthen the family and improve quality of life
  • Pro Small Business: I support and encourage opportunities for small businesses to grow.
Support the Family:

Strong supporter of the family as the key to a successful democracy. Committed to passing legislation with pro-family values, which will enhance protection for our children.
Safer Communities:
As Mayor I maintained a strong police force by providing the latest technology and equipment to ensure the safety of both officers and citizens.
Support Our Troops:
As a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, I understand firsthand what a vital role our armed forces play in defending our country and our freedom. I will work tirelessly to support our active military members and veterans and their families.
Flood Mitigation:
Strongly support providing funding for a statewide mitigation program. As Mayor of Palm Valley, I have experience in improving drainage. I believe that, as a state, we must strive to minimize the damage done by natural disasters and have plans in place to help communities recover quickly.
Border Security:
I support the efforts to increase protection and supplement local law enforcement to secure the border and crack down on human traffickers and cartels that bring violent crime to South Texas.
Improving Healthcare:

Access to quality healthcare should never be considered a luxury. I support reforms to our healthcare system that will expand access to care and keep hospital pricing transparent.
An elected official should not have a personal agenda. It is vital that the elected official is in office to be of service to his constituents.
