George Simpson

George C. Simpson is a judge for the Circuit 40 court in Alabama. He was appointed by Governor Bob Riley on January 4, 2011 and his current term expires in 2018.[1]
Education
Simpson earned his A.B. and J.D. from the University of Alabama.[2]
Career
Before his appointment to Circuit 40, Simpson served as Municipal Judge in Lineville for over 9 years and District Judge for Clay County for 24 years.[1] He was admitted to the Alabama Bar in 1974.[2]
2012 election
Simpson was elected to the court after running unopposed for election to the court in 2012.[3] [4]
