George Bell Timmerman, Sr. (1881-1966) was a federal judge on the United States District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of South Carolina.

Timmerman was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on December 18, 1941, to a seat vacated by Alva Lumpkin. He was confirmed by the Senate on January 20, 1942, and received commission on January 23rd. On October 10, 1962, he assumed senior status. He served until his death on April 22, 1966.
