George W. Norris (July 11, 1861 – September 2, 1944), was a member of the U.S. Senate from the state of Nebraska from 1913 to 1943. He was originally elected as a Republican in 1912. In 1936 he was elected as Independent and served as such for the rest of his career.[1]
