George Weber was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 2nd Congressional District of Missouri. Previously, he was a Democratic candidate for District 26 of the Missouri State Senate. He was defeated by Glenn Koenen in the Democratic primary.

Politico listed the 2nd District race as one of the top five primaries in the list 5 primaries to watch in 2012.[1]

Weber was born in Eureka, Missouri. After attending college at the University of Missouri at Columbia between 1942 and 1943, Weber served in the U.S. Marine Corps until he was honorably discharged in 1946. He has served on the Missouri Farm Bureau Board of Directors from 1951-1961. He was also the President of the Eureka Chamber of Commerce from 1960-1964. He has been a real estate broker in Eureka for over 50 years.[2]
