The 6th Congressional District of Georgia held an election for the U.S. House of Representatives on November 8, 2016.
Heading into the election, Ballotpedia rated this race as safely Republican. Incumbent Tom Price (R) defeated Rodney Stooksbury (D) in the general election on November 8, 2016. Neither candidate faced a primary opponent on May 24, 2016.[4][5]

Incumbent: Heading into the election the incumbent was Tom Price (R), who was first elected in 2004.
Georgia's 6th Congressional District consists of many of the northern suburbs of Atlanta and included eastern Cobb County, northern Fulton County, and the Dunwoody area of northern Dekalb County.[8]
