The Georgia Abolishment of Income Tax Amendment was not on the November 4, 2014 ballot in Georgia as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. The measure would have phased out income tax by 2027 and limited the authority of the Georgia General Assembly to impose an income tax.[1]
The proposed amendment was introduced into the Georgia Legislature as SR 8.[1]
