Georgia Amendment 7, State Senate Leadership Measure (1936)

The Georgia Duties of Lieutenant Governor Amendment, also known as Amendment 7, was on the ballot in Georgia on November 3, 1936, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The measure would have provided for the lieutenant governor to be the president of the senate.[1]
