Ballot title

The ballot title for Amendment 27 was as follows:

FOR ratification of Amendment to Paragraph 1, Section 12, Article VI, of the Constitution, providing that the Board of County Commissioners of Fulton County shall supplement from said County's Treasury the salaries of each of the Judges of the Atlanta Judicial Circuit by the sum of Four Thousand Dollars ($4,000,000) per annum.

AGAINST ratification of Amendment to Paragraph 1, Section 12, Article VI, of the Constitution, providing that the Board of County Commissioners of Fulton County shall supplement from said County's Treasury the salaries of each of the Judges of the Atlanta Judicial Circuit by the sum of Four Thousand Dollars ($4,000,000) per annum.

A two-thirds (66.67%) vote is required during one legislative session for the Georgia State Legislature to place an amendment on the ballot.
