Georgina Perez
Georgina Perez (Democratic Party) was a member of the Texas State Board of Education, representing District 1. She assumed office in 2017. She left office on January 1, 2023.
Perez (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Texas State Board of Education to represent District 1. She won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Biography
Perez has served as an English teacher and administrator in the Ysleta Independent School District for more than 10 years. In addition to her work in the district, Perez is the founder of literature distribution nonprofit Tu Libro and the Cotton Valley Scholars program.[1]
