Georgine Tomasi was a candidate for the Trustee Area 5 seat on the Escondido Union High School District Board of Education in California. She ran against one incumbent in the general election on November 4, 2014.[1] Georgine Tomasi lost the general election on November 4, 2014.

Four seats on the Escondido Union High School District Board of Education were up for general election on November 4, 2014. Two incumbents, Tina Pope from Trustee Area 1 and Christi Knight from Trustee Area 3, ran unopposed and won re-election by default. No incumbent filed to run in the Trustee Area 2 election, leaving the race to candidates Lou Barrios and Bill Durney. Durney defeated Barrios and won election to the seat. In Trustee Area 5, incumbent Jon Petersen ran against challenger Georgine Tomasi and won re-election.
