Gerald Harvey was a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 142 of the Georgia House of Representatives. He ran unsuccessfully for the same seat in 2012 and 2014.

Harvey's professional experience includes serving as a Macon City, Georgia city councilman.[1]

The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 7, 2014. Incumbent Nikki T. Randall defeated Gerald Harvey in the Democratic primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[6][7][8]
