Gerald William Heaney (1918-2010) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit.

Heaney was nominated by President Lyndon Johnson on September 9, 1966, to a new seat created by 80 Stat. 75; he was confirmed by the Senate on October 20, 1966, and received commission on November 3. He assumed senior status on December 31, 1988, and retired on August 31, 2006.[1][2] Heaney died on June 22, 2010.
