Biography

Gerald Jones was born in Dallas, Texas. He earned a high school diploma from Thomas Jefferson High School and an associate degree from North Central Texas College in 1986. His career experience includes working as a business consultant and licensed peace officer. Jones has been affiliated with Dallas Children's Charities, REACT International, Inc., and Dallas County REACT, Inc.[1]

I was born and grew up Dallas, graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School. I attended Baylor University and graduated from North Central Texas College with a degree in criminal justice. I have a combined 14 years of law enforcement experience, including six years as the Constable, Precinct 1 in Cooke County. I have attained an advanced certification from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. I serve as a Director on three non-profit Boards in Dallas and Glendale, CA. I am a Private Pilot, an Amateur Radio operator, and an experienced boater.
  • I am not new to law enforcement and have been a prior Constable
  • I have broad based experience in both law enforcement and in business to build a Team of professionals
  • My office will be transparent and accountable in all dealings with the public
I am supportive of public policies that embrace fair and equal applications of justice and reforms to a diversified citizenry.
Assemble a team of dedicated professionals to perform the duties of the office and serve the citizens of Dallas County.
I would like to improve the viability, operation, and efficiency of the office that will become the benchmark to emulate.
